Experience

Nola started skating at the age of eight through the Learn to Skate Program at the Kirkwood Ice Arena. This led to her becoming a part of a synchronized skating team where she competed nationally for many years. She started coaching Learn to Skate in 2015 and oversaw that very program as the Skating Director from 2020-2024.

In 2024, Nola began partnering with the St. Louis Rockets Youth Hockey Association to implement a new hockey focused Learn to Skate program into their organization. Nola also currently coaches private lessons full time (averaging 40 lessons per week) for both hockey and figure skaters of all ages.

She is a professional member of USFSA (United Skates Figure Skating Association), Learn to Skate USA, and the ISI (Ice Sports Industry). She has instructor insurance, an approved background check, and is Safesport Certified.
